Welcome to Truman Moon Primary Center

Truman Moon is a primary center housing approximately 400 students in kindergarten and first grade.

Our staff utilizes developmentally appropriate teaching strategies aimed at providing instructional programs aligned with the New York State standards, which are meaningful and relevant to life in our community.

Art, music, and physical education classes are 'specials' that students particularly enjoy and excel in! Truman Moon's computer lab boasts computers for student use and every teacher in our building is connected to the Internet in their classroom. Students' experiences using sight, sound and movement teach problem solving strategies, and higher-order thinking skills that enhance confidence and learning across the curriculum.
