Mathematics Department
The Middletown High School Mathematics Department offers
a wide range of courses to meet the needs of a
mathematically diverse population. We offer classes
that cover the topics of Integrated Algebra, Integrated
Geometry, Integrated Algebra 2 and Trigonometry,
Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, College statistics,
Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Visual Basic, Java, and C++.
Specific courses are designed to meet the needs of
mathematical ability ranging from the academically
talented student to the student who needs remediation in
mathematics. Additional math labs are offered for
students who are having difficulty passing the state
regent’s examination.
All courses are developed around the New York State
Standards, which revolve around 5 process and 5 content
