Co-Vice Presidents:
Francesca Grogan and Patricia Lynch

The PTO provides an opportunity for parents, teachers, and community members to work together to ensure that Mechanicstown's students have the support needed to reach their full potential. The benefits of this cooperation are reaped not only by the students, but by the entire school community.

The following are just a few of the activities that the PTO makes possible. "Family Nights" bring us together as a community for fun and educational activities. Book fairs and essay contests encourage our students to read and write. Fundraisers allow us to provide not only these opportunities, but also the ability to supplement the resources of our school
from books for the library to money for field trips. Monthly meetings and newsletters keep everyone informed.

Becoming a member of this group makes it possible for you to make a difference in the quality of the school experience for the students.
