ABC Teach-The
ABC Teach Web site has numerous lesson ideas and
printable sheets. They do offer some free sheets and
activities. This direct link brings you to printable
vocabulary sheets (look for the items without a red
star) (3-5).
EdHelper.com-This
site has printable vocabulary sheets located under the
table of contents on the main Web page under
“vocabulary.” This site has printable activities for
all subject areas (K-12).
Education Place-Fake Out-This site is from the Houghton Mifflin Company. This
direct link has online vocabulary games (K-6).
Funbrain ELA Games-There are a variety of online ELA games according to
grade level. The sixth icon down is for vocabulary
games (1-3).
Learning Vocabulary Can Be Fun-This Web site has five online vocabulary games to enhance
vocabulary skills. Each game has various levels of
difficulty for grades (1-5).
Puzzlemaker Word Lists-This
section of puzzlemaker gives lists of words according to
various topics. These words can easily be placed into
one of their many puzzles.
The Kaboose Network (FunSchool)-This site has online educational activities/games for
all subject areas according to grade levels. To find
vocabulary activities click on grade level and type in
